The Sindh Government has announced the inauguration of a new route for the Peoples Bus Service (PBS) in Karachi. This initiative is aimed at facilitating the daily commute of the city’s residents.
The announcement was made by the Sindh Transport Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon. He detailed that the new route, spanning 35 kilometers, will commence from Khokhrapar and terminate at Saddar (Lucky Star). The route will include stops at Saudabad, Kala Board, Quaidabad, Landhi, Korangi, Qayumabad, and FTC.
Memon further assured that the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi will continue to operate beyond the current government’s term. This commitment underscores the government’s dedication to providing reliable public transportation for the city’s inhabitants.
It’s worth noting that the Sindh Government has also recently launched a new route for the Electric Bus Service in Karachi. This route, known as EV-3, starts from Malir Cant Check Post 5 and heads towards Numaish. It includes stops at Safoora Chowrangi, Mosamiyat, Kamran Chowrangi, Perfume Chowk, Millennium Mall, Dalmia, Aga Khan Hospital, Liaquat National, and MA Jinnah.
These initiatives by the Sindh Government are significant steps towards improving the public transportation system in Karachi, making daily commutes more convenient for its residents.
