The provincial administration of Sindh has announced the retake date for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2023. The decision comes after the authorities voided the initial MDCAT 2023 entry test results and ordered a complete re-conduct of the examination.
The retake of the MDCAT 2023 is scheduled to take place on November 19, as per the announcement made by the Sindh government. This news comes as a relief to medical aspirants who were eagerly awaiting a new date for the exam retake. The health department further revealed that the Dow University Of Health Sciences would be responsible for conducting the exam from 10am to 2:30pm on the specified date.
In addition to the date and time, the authorities also outlined certain rules for the candidates. All candidates will have to undergo a physical search before entering the examination center. They will not be permitted to bring mobile phones, calculators, and electronic devices into the examination center. Moreover, parents and relatives of candidates will not be allowed to stay in and around the examination center premises.
The decision to retake the MDCAT 2023 came after authorities discovered a cheating plot during the initial test. Several students were caught using Bluetooth devices for cheating, leading to the cancellation of the test results.
This incident underscores the importance of maintaining integrity and fairness in such crucial examinations. It also serves as a reminder for all future candidates about the severe consequences of resorting to unfair means during exams. As the retake date approaches, it is hoped that all candidates will adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the authorities.
