During a press conference conducted at the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab announced the formal launch of an e-Registration portal for private colleges.
The website was built to achieve the department’s digitalization objectives while also assuring data efficiency, transparency, accessibility, and security for all stakeholders, according to HED Secretary Punjab Javed Akhter Mahmood.
According to Mahmood, the new strategy would make it easier for private college owners to register their schools because they may now do so in a few easy steps. The technology will also be used to renew e-licenses for college owners.
According to the HED Secretary, the e-portal would give information about private institutions and their programs to students and parents. He gave thanks to the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for its technical help in the implementation of many ICT projects, including the e-Registration portal.
