Punjab Govt Announces Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays

The Punjab government has also announced its own Eid-ul-Fitr holiday schedule. Unlike KP, Punjab has declared the same number of holidays as the federal government.

According to the official announcement, Eid vacations will be held across the province from April 21 to April 25 (Friday to Tuesday).

The KP government announced more Eid holidays than the federal government earlier today. According to an official statement from the KP administration, Eid vacations will be held across the province from April 21 to 26 (Friday to Wednesday).

The federal government declared Eid-ul-Fitr vacations from April 21 to April 25 on Thursday (Friday to Tuesday). The statement came after the Cabinet Division’s suggestion was accepted by the government.

The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, on the other hand, has called its monthly meeting to observe the Shawaal crescent. The meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 20 (29 Ramadan). On the same day, zonal committees will convene in specified zones.

The major gathering will be placed at Islamabad’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony building. The session will be presided over by Chairman Molana Abdul Khabeer Azad.
