PMDC MDCAT Result 2023

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has recently conducted the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2023, with results expected to be announced soon. The MDCAT is a nationwide examination organized by provincial admitting universities under the supervision of PMDC. This year, over 200,000 students from both within Pakistan and abroad registered for the MDCAT 2023 examination.

The PMDC is set to officially announce the PMDC MDCAT Test Results 2023 within a week, with the results expected to be made public sometime between September 17th and September 25th, 2023. Multiple Universities, One Result Source

Various esteemed institutions such as the University of Health Sciences Lahore, Khyber Medical University Peshawar via the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, and Bolan University of Health Sciences conducted the MDCAT within their respective provinces. The PMC Pakistan Medical Commission will release the results for all these university-based MDCATs through its official website. Furthermore, the results for students who appeared from Islamabad and abroad will also be announced concurrently.

MDCAT 2023 Answer Keys and Self-Scoring System

This year, PMDC introduced the Self Scoring System, previously practiced by NUMS and UHS. Under this system, students receive carbon copies of their MDCAT response sheets, and the answer key is revealed on the same date as the examination. Candidates can then calculate their scores independently using the carbonized copy of the response form in conjunction with the provided answer key.

PMC Official MDCAT Result 2023

Within 5-7 days of the exam, the University will furnish the official MDCAT result to PMDC. Subsequently, PMDC will post a consolidated result encompassing all MDCATs conducted across different provinces and regions on its website.

MDCAT Pass Percentage

For admission to public colleges, each province or territory will establish its specific merit criteria. It’s important to note that the minimum pass percentage required for MDCAT is 55% for medical college admissions and 45% for dental college admissions.
