In the UAE, you can get money if you lose your job because of involuntary loss of employment (ILOE) insurance. You need to pay your ILOE premiums on time. You may get fined between AED 200 and AED 400 if you do not.
The salary may be cut, or the work permit may be suspended. There are many easy ways to check and pay these fines online.
Via ILOE Website
- Go to the ILOE website.
- Click “Subscribe Here” and log in with your mobile or Emirates ID.
- Check for any fines.
- If there are fines, click “Pay,” check the total amount (including tax), and pay using a debit card or Google Pay. You will get a confirmation SMS as proof of payment.
Via MoHRE Website or App
- Visit the MoHRE website or download the MoHRE app.
- Click on the “ILOE Quick Pay” service.
- Enter your ID number or labor card number.
- Check for outstanding fines, provide your mobile number and email address, and then pay with a credit/debit card.
Alternative Payment Methods
- Al Ansari Exchange: You can go to any branch of Al Ansari Exchange to ask about the fines and pay them.
- Bank Services: Dubai Islamic Bank and Mashreq Bank provide options for paying the ILOE fines.
- Service Centers: MOHRE TASHEEL and TAWJEEH centers help you pay fines in person.
- Automated Kiosks: Use the Upay or MBME Pay kiosks in different places around the UAE for self-pay.
- Mobile Applications: C3 Pay and Etisalat’s Botim app are some of the apps where you can pay fines.
