Parkin app: How to park now and pay later in Dubai

Parkin Launches 'PayLater' Feature for Multistorey Parking in Dubai

Aiming to make public parking smoother for Dubai motorists, the Parkin mobile app has been launched. In addition to payment convenience, the app features something special, ‘PayLater’ payment for parking provision as far as 48 hours after leaving a multi-story car park.

What is the ‘PayLater’ feature?

‘PayLater’ service pertains to multistorey parking structures and offers up to 200 drivers the convenience of potentially not having an immediate payment method available while they leave the facility. Drivers can pay their parking bills at a later time on the Parkin website.

Who can use ‘PayLater’?

The feature is available for both registered and non-registered users:

  • Registered users: Sign in with your Parkin online account with your vehicle details saved. They may also allow you to set up Autopay for automatic deductions.
  • Non-registered users: Can enter vehicle details online to pay at a later date.

How to use ‘PayLater’?

Dubai multistorey car parks have a ticketless system, which scans license plates as vehicles drive in. Upon exit, drivers can pay later by:

  1. Visit parkin.ae
  2. Select the ‘PayLater’ service
  3. Enter the vehicle’s license plate number
  4. View the parking fee
  5. Make payment using a credit or debit card

Anyone who fails to pay within 48 hours will be fined Dh1,000. Get the drivers to use the ‘PayLater’ feature so that they do not get penalties.

What is the Autopay feature?

With Autopay, registered users can enjoy automatic, uninterrupted deductions of parking costs:

How it works: Users deposit money into the Parkin Wallet, an in-app digital wallet.

They charge my fees automatically upon exit, so I never have to worry about making that payment or dealing with late fees.

Motorists can pay for parking using various methods, including:
