Pakistani Students Study Abroad at US University for Free
The United States Educational Foundation (USEF) has recently announced its 2024 Undergraduate Semester Exchange Program, specifically designed for Pakistani students. This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster mutual understanding between the people of Pakistan and the United States.
The program offers an exceptional opportunity for full-time undergraduate Pakistani students to experience American academic life firsthand by studying for a single semester in the US. These include dual nationals of both the US and Pakistan, spouses, children, dependents, and parents who are employees of the Fulbright organization, US State Department, or USAID. Also, students in their first or final years of university are not eligible.
Accepted candidates will receive numerous benefits, including round-trip airfare, coverage of tuition and fees, provision of housing and meals, an allowance for purchasing books, comprehensive accident and sickness coverage, and a maintenance allowance to manage daily expenses.
The application process is straightforward and can be completed through USEFP’s official website. However, the deadline for applications is September 27, 2023, and only applications submitted through the online platform will be considered. Applicants must ensure that all required documents are uploaded along with their online application. It’s important to note that only selected candidates will be asked to provide reference letters.
