PESHAWAR, Nov 26, 2023 – Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) was conducted smoothly and without incident across 11 centers in Khyber province on Sunday.
Organized by Khyber Medical University (KMU), the examination process was marked by an atmosphere of order and tranquility.
The MDCAT saw participation from over 40,000 candidates. The test was administered in seven cities, including Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, Swat, Chakdara, Kohat, and Dera Ismail Khan, ensuring wide accessibility for students from various parts of the province.
In Peshawar alone, four centers were designated for the examination: Islamia Collegiate Ground, Hostel No. 2 Ground at Peshawar University, Pakistan Forest Institute Ground, and Public School Opposite Peshawar University.
Other notable centers included Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan, KMU-IMS in Kohat, Gomal Medical College in DI Khan, Ayub Medical College in Abbottabad, University of Malakand in Chakdara, and University of Swat in Charbagh.
The successful administration of the MDCAT is a testament to the effective planning and execution by KMU and the respective centers. This peaceful conduct of exams provides a conducive environment for students to perform to the best of their abilities, which is essential for maintaining the integrity and quality of medical education in the region.
