LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has approved the extension of market timings in the city to facilitate both traders and buyers in connection with Eidul Adha 2024.
Extended Market Operating Hours
The High Court order had said markets would be allowed to remain open until 12 midnight on weekdays and till 1 am during weekends. This is the second allowance cut for many as they prepare for the upcoming Eid festivities.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Meeting
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today, June 7, to the visibility of the Zil Hajj crescent. This appearance will help to declare the actual date of Eidul Adha 2024 in Pakistan. The meeting in Karachi would be presided over by its chairman Abdul Khabeer Azad.

As we know it is the main festival of Muslims, which is celebrated by Muslims all over the country on the 10th of Zil Hajj.
Current Market Timings in Lahore
Lahore allows citywide markets to stay open until midnight on weekdays and until 1 am on weekends, a prospect that allows Lahoris to shop for Eid ul Adha 2024 longer.
