The defending champion Lahore Qalandars have announced their retentions for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 season. The team has retained a total of 8 players across 4 categories – Platinum, Diamond, Gold, and Silver.
In the Platinum category, Qalandars have retained star pacer Shaheen Afridi. Haris Rauf and David Wiese are the two retentions in the Diamond category, with Haris Rauf also being named the team’s brand ambassador.
The Gold category retentions include all-rounders Sikandar Raza and Abdullah Shafique along with fast bowler Zaman Khan. Finally, batsman Mirza Tahir Baig and spinner Rashid Khan have been retained in the Silver category.
