Pakistan Announce Squad for England, Ireland T20 Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a national T20 squad for the upcoming England and Ireland series. Led by Babar Azam, the squad includes talented players like Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Sadab Khan, and others.

Selected for the Pakistan squad England, Ireland series include Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Irfan Khan Niazi, Ifthar Ahmad, Usman Khan, Azam Khan (wk), Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Salman Ali Agha.

The announcement was released in anticipation of the three-match series against Ireland that is scheduled to take place from May 10th to May 14th. In a four-match T20 International series beginning on May 22, the Men in Green will face England after their series with Ireland.

The squad must win these matches if it wants to be ready for the T20 International World Cup 2024 which will begin in June in the US and the West Indies. With their eyes set on the prestigious World Cup, the Pakistan squad is gearing up to showcase their talent and compete at the highest level.
