For the first time, residents in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be able to apply online for subsidized food through the Insaf Food Card Registration Online.
During a provincial cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Mahmood Khan approved the plan. The government plans to spend up to Rs. 25,920 crores on the program, with each eligible home receiving Rs. 2,100 per month. The initiative will have a positive impact on nearly five million individuals in the province.
KPK Insaf Food Card Registration Online 2024
Data from the Ehsaas program of 2024 will be used to identify those who are eligible for the Insaf ration card in the KPK. An agreement has been made with the Bank of Khyber (BOK) to issue Insaf ration cards on an ATM-like basis, which will take effect at the beginning of the next fiscal year.

What is Insaf Food Card?

Muhammad Ali Saif, the CM’s special assistant and head of public affairs, said the KPK Insaf Food Card Program Online will cost Rs 25.92 billion and help five million people in response to the government decision.
Using a bank card mockup, the special assistant said that a contract was being signed with the Bank of Khyber to issue an Insaf ration card starting with the following fiscal year. The Ehsaas system is used to determine those who are qualified for the card system based on real-time data.
