Islamabad United has announced their retentions for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 season. The two-time PSL champions retained a total of 8 players, including two in the Platinum category.
The franchise retained captain Shadab Khan and fast bowler Naseem Shah in the Platinum category.
Both players were top performers for the team over the past few seasons. Naseem Shah has been traded from Quetta Gladiators to Islamabad United ahead of PSL 9.
