Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf and a former prime minister, will speak at a large Jalsa e aam in Attock today. He said at three big public meetings following Eid al-Fitr 1443 AH. Mianwali, Abbottabad, and Jhelum hosted them. Mianwali’s Jalsa e Aam was the largest.
A small number of people attended the two jalsas in Abbottabad and Jhelum. Imran Khan’s speech at Abbottabad was contentious. Still, most intellectuals and the general people denounced his words about the military and General Bajwa, even if the speech was controversial.

Tehreek Insaf is holding its fourth Jalsa e aam in Attock. The twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are within striking distance of Attock City.
District Attock is home to two National Assembly seats. PTI’s MNAs take home both seats. Major (R) Tahir Sadiq, elected from NA 55, is one such MNA. One more MNA elected from NA-56 is Malik Amin Aslam. Attock has five seats in the Punjab Assembly, from PP-1 to PP-5.
Attock City PTI Jalsa
Major Retired Tahir Sadiq is the most prominent PTI leader in Attock. Malik Amin Aslam is in second place. Both of them are involved in politics to a great extent.
