Users are excited to create their playlist covers, and soon, Spotify listeners will be able to customize their epic covers.
With over 600 million users and almost 250 million subscribers, Spotify is one of the best-known audio streaming services in the world.
In the past, Spotify users listening to the app, which contains the most current musical and podcast releases, were accustomed to receiving pre-made cover art for playlists. Normally, they’d add a picture of the album cover from a song on their playlist.
Spotify is making its listening experience more personal by now offering users the option of customizable playlist cover art.
Listeners can use Spotify’s playlist cover art to upload different cover art for each playlist instead of using what the app generates.
Currently, there are designs of Text, photos, and stickers that users can edit to their preference.
Spotify announced its new feature with an Instagram post showing its fans about to make “some fire covers.” “We always wanted to build cover art for every emotion, for every month, for holidays, color-coded by zodiac signs, and that’s what we did,” Spotify responded.
Spotify added that the app will also soon roll out Spotify’s playlist cover art feature to all users in the coming weeks.
Other Spotify users smitten with the new feature were impressed by the customizable playlist cover art, which they expect will be a ‘cool feature.’ At the same time, some were unable to contain their excitement that they would now be able to be officially added.
