From mid-2020 until early 2022, the Yaris was one of Pakistan’s best-selling vehicles. However, with the arrival of competitors such as the sixth-generation Honda City, fourth-generation Suzuki Swift, and Changan Alsvin, Yaris sales have dropped.
Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has given the Yaris a slight visual refresh to recover some of it by offering it with a sporty body kit dubbed “Aero.”
Front and rear bumper extensions, side skirts, a trunk spoiler, body-colored trim around the fog lights, and a reduced stance are all part of the aero-kit. The Aero-kit is also only available on the 1.3 CVT and 1.5 CVT trim levels, according to the ad.
These upgrades come at a massive cost above standard versions. Prices are as follows, according to the official website:
Variants | Price (Rs.) |
1.3 Aero CVT | 5,199,000 |
1.5 Aero CVT | 5,969,000 |
The official website states that reservations for the new Yaris are already available, but the delivery date is presently unknown.
The new pricing put the Toyota Yaris Aero dangerously close to the Corolla Altis 1.6, perhaps reducing its appeal.
