Driving license fee structure in Islamabad

All drivers in Islamabad must have a driving license issued by the official authorities to drive their vehicles lawfully. Getting a driving license demands theoretical and practical testing and successfully passing traffic regulations.

  • Learner’s License (6-month validity): Rs 1,000
  • Non-Professional Motor Vehicle & Motorcycle License: Rs 3,000
  • Professional License (LTV & HTV): Rs 10,000
  • Motorcycle + Professional License: Rs 10,000

Digital Driver’s License

The Islamad Traffic Police launched a digital driving license incorporating twelve security specifications to prevent the card from being duplicated or altered.

Traffic management enhancements will occur when authorities link this digital license with Safe City’s existing security systems, along with NADRA and Excise.

Fee for Digital License: Rs 2,000 (for existing valid license holders)
