If you don’t want to save or change these pictures, you should remove them to avoid cluttering your gallery. In Windows Live Photo Gallery, there is no system to automate the detection of duplicate pictures. However, after you’ve manually recognized the duplicates, deleting them is quick and simple.

- Find the duplicate image in Windows Photo Gallery.
- Select “Delete” from the menu when you right-click on the duplicate picture.
- When prompted, select “Yes” to confirm the deletion of the image.
