Banks to Remain Closed on Wednesday

On Monday, the State Bank of Pakistan declared that in observance of Labour Day, they will be closed on Wednesday, 1 May 2024.

The bank stated, “The State Bank of Pakistan will be closed on May 1, 2024 (Wednesday) as a public holiday for Labour Day, as declared by the Government of Pakistan.”

Commercial banks all over the country will also be closed on the same day to mark the event.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange has announced that it will not open this Wednesday.

Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited will be closed on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, because that day is Labour Day, which is a public holiday in Pakistan.
