Twitch star and entrepreneur Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is out of the top spot as the platform’s most viewed female content creator by a rising star.
Overall, Amouranth has long held one of the leading positions in the streaming sphere. This year, Siragusa became the most-watched female creator on Twitch, but in 2023, she fell a little bit when she moved to a new streaming platform, Kick, with a very ‘hefty’ contract.
Meanwhile, Kick’s channel expanded, Amouranth was flourishing, and the year started in 2024 with her as the #1 streamer on any platform besides VTubers for women.
Yet, based on the new stat reports of Stream Hatchet and Streams Charts, she was surpassed in content reign during this year’s second quarter.
Compared to the same three months of 2021, from April to June 2024, Siragusa saw her viewing hours drop by a whopping 24 percent despite her streamed hours going up.
All in all, a streamer known as Amouranth had 4. Out of the total numbers, 12M hours are watched, leaving behind IRL creator Jinny with only 3.85M. Following this, another YouTuber, and co-owner of the 100 Thieves, Valkyrae, garnered 3. 77M watched.
The biggest beneficiary of this in Q2 2024 was the Twitch streamer Mira, through which the viewers rooted for five conducive for their consumption while its shares gained a whopping 28%—10 M hours.
She has more than 700k followers on Twitch and streams, mainly IRL and Just Chatting. She has also gained many fans on sites such as Instagram, where she has many followers; today, she has more than 1M followers.
However, when factoring in VTubers, four creators stand ahead of Mira for the throne: According to the March survey, Japanese VTuber Pekora ranked atop with 9. The first channel garners 6M hours watched and is then succeeded by Miko, ironmouse, and Koyori.
While Amouranth may not quickly achieve the top Spot, the creator has made some rattling decisions on her path that make her stand out from others.
In 2024, she also declared that she had become a co-owner of the esports org Wildcard Gaming. She also became a millionaire thanks to strip dancing and pornography and even created her own beer.
