Zong 4G Partners with Knowledge Platform to Launch ‘Zong Digital Scholars Program’ in Pakistan

Zong 4G has joined forces with Knowledge Platform to introduce the “Zong Digital Scholars Program.” This pioneering initiative is set to revolutionize the learning landscape for approximately 3,000 students across 60 schools, particularly focusing on marginalized areas of the country.

The program is a cornerstone of Zong’s Sustainability Initiative aims to improve educational access and quality in remote and underprivileged regions. By integrating technology into the classroom, Zong 4G is building upon its previous efforts to digitalize educational institutions, having already established digital labs in collaboration with organizations such as PAGE, HANDS, and PBM.

Central to the Zong Digital Scholars Program is the Math Tutoring Program for 9th and 10th graders, which was crafted in partnership with Knowledge Platform and local school teachers. Additionally, the initiative encompasses an English and sciences Self-study Program that covers a broad spectrum of subjects including Biology, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics, and Physics for the same grade levels.

The spokesperson for Zong 4G expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting the company’s commitment to fostering a brighter future through digital innovation and educational empowerment. Mr. Mahboob Mahmood, CEO and Founder of Knowledge Platform shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the collective teaching and learning approach that will be adopted to refine and expand their educational model.

The program not only provides resources such as lesson plans, assessment tools, and educational games and videos but also includes a recognition system. Awards will be presented monthly and annually to celebrate the achievements of outstanding students, teachers, and schools, underscoring Zong’s dedication to promoting excellence in education.

With the launch of the Zong Digital Scholars Program, Zong 4G anticipates a positive impact on Pakistan’s educational sector. The company envisions this partnership as a stepping stone towards nurturing a digitally literate and empowered generation, thereby contributing to a more prosperous future for the nation.
