Following in the steps of Honda and Yamaha, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) introduced a complete 0% markup payment plan for their bikes.
Only Bank Alfalah credit cardholders are eligible for this offer. Furthermore, the plan does not cover the GSX 125.
The plan’s details are as follows:
Although the 0% markup deal is only valid for 18 months, it is still better than rival programs. Yamaha and Honda’s 0% markup schemes, only extend up to nine months.
Suzuki, interestingly, has its own in-house payment plan. The only difference is that it helps more individuals regardless of bank affiliation, rendering this arrangement with Bank Al-Falah ineffective.
According to a recent Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, Pak Suzuki sold 820 bikes last month, a 29.1% decline month over month (MoM). To top it all off, the automaker announced this month the second batch of non-production days NPDs for its bike manufacturing unit.
Suzuki clearly aims to attract buyers’ attention with the current payment plan. However, given the frequent production breaks, it is unclear whether that approach will be effective.
