Surah Baqara Benefits Or Fazilat
In Arabic, the word Baqara means cow. Verses 67 to 73 of Surah Baqara’s eighth and ninth Ruku tell the story of a cow belonging to the Children of Israel. It is the Holy Quran’s longest surah.

Surah Baqara Benefits
There are multiple benefits to Surah Baqara. The last two verses protect a person from terrible events or incidents. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night will suffice, according to Hazrat Abu Masood (May Allah Be Pleased With Him).
It is beneficial to keep Satan away in our home. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that whoever recites Surah Al-Baqarah in his house during the day, Satan will not come near his house for three days, and whoever recites Surah Al-Baqarah in his house at night, Satan will not enter that house for three nights, according to Hazrat Sehal Bin Saad Bin Saadi.
Surah Baqara Ki Fazilat
Many Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad help us understand Surah Baqara ki Fazilat (Peace Be Upon Him). Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) as saying: “Do not make your houses graveyards,” according to Sahih Muslim Hadith No 1824. Devil leaves the home where Surah Baqara is recited.
Ayat Ul Kursi is the longest Ayah of the Surah Baqarah and there are also several benefits of this Ayah. As per the Jami At Tirmidhi Hadith No. 2878, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said that For everything there is a hump (pinnacle) and the hump (pinnacle) of the Qur’an is Surat Al-Baqarah, in it, there is an Ayah which is the master of the Ayat in the Qur’an; [it is] Ayat Al-Kursi.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) also narrated Jami At Tirmidhi Hadith No 2879 in which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that Whoever recites Ha Mim Al-Mu’min – up to – To Him is the return (40:1-3) and Ayat Al-Kursi when he reaches (gets up in) the morning, he will be protected by them until the evening. Whoever recites them when he reaches the evening, will be protected by them until the morning.
