I Intend to keep the fast for month of Ramadan
Sehri Dua
The special Sehri ki Dua for fasting in Ramadan is “Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan,” which in roman translates “I plan to observe the fast for tomorrow in the ramadan month.” Reading Sehri dua is not required when setting fasting intents; however, many read Sehri ki dua or Roza rakhne ki dua since reciting Sehri dua demonstrates the strength of fasting motives. On Roza rakhne ki dua, Allah may reward you with more benefits.
Sehri is a meal that we consume before fasting since it is Sunnah and will not make you feel hungry during fasting times. Eating Sehri is also a blessing and those who do so receive Allah’s bliss. Therefore, it is vital to form fasting intentions after dining Sehri. You may make a fast desire in your heart since it is not required to convey your intents via your words, and reading Sehri ki Dua or Dua for Sehri validates your desires.
Even before the finish of Sehri, say the Roza rakhne ki dua. Making intentions demonstrates your dedication to completing Islamic tasks such as prayers and other principles of Islam. Similarly, establishing a desire from the heart is required before fasting.
Still, if you recite Sehri ki dua or Roza rakhne ki dua, Allah would reward you with more significant benefits since uttering words to convey your good motives is also considered excellent and will be added to the list of your good acts.
