The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman have recently introduced a new transport link that is set to revolutionize travel between the two nations. The Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) to Oman bus service, overseen by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) offers an economical and reliable transportation option for residents and tourists alike.
A Game-Changing Initiative
The RAK to Oman bus service is a result of an agreement between RAKTA and the Municipality of Musandam. This initiative is part of RAKTA’s ongoing efforts to improve public transport options in the northern emirate, especially in the post-pandemic era.
The new bus service offers a cost-effective and dependable mode of transport for residents of RAK, making cross-border travel for business or leisure more accessible.
Scenic Route and Bus Stops
The bus service operates along a route that offers passengers scenic views throughout the journey. In RAK, the bus stops include the Ras Al Khaimah Bus Station (Al Dhait South), Al Rams Area, and Sha’am Area. In Musandam, the stops are Tibaat Area, Wilayat of Bukha, Harf Area, Qada Area, and Wilayat of Khasab.
