The highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 is fast approaching, with excitement building over the reveal of the platinum-category overseas star players.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the list of elite cricketers who will participate in the upcoming PSL 9 draft, set to take place at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on December 13, 2023.
The PSL 9 player draft will see franchises pick their squads from an impressive pool of over 250 foreign players who have registered for the selection process. The flagship T20 tournament is scheduled from February 8 to March 24, 2024.
PSL9 platinum players list
The PCB recently unveiled the star-studded list of platinum-category players up for grabs in the draft.
The list includes several top T20 specialists like Rashid Khan, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, David Miller, and Wanindu Hasaranga among others. Their participation has further amplified anticipation amongst fans.
As the draft inches closer, local players retained by franchises were also announced. Each team will head into the draft looking to further bolster their line-ups with elite overseas picks from the platinum category.
With world-class players on show, the upcoming PSL 9 is expected to be one of the most exhilarating seasons yet.
