ISLAMABAD – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has declared a substantial decrease in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for November 2023, following the downward trend in the international market. This announcement was made on October 31, 2023, as part of a notification issued by the regulatory authority.
The price of LPG per kilogram has been reduced by Rs9.95, making it available at Rs251/kg from November 1. This marks a significant drop from the previous month’s price of Rs261 per kg.
In addition to this, the cost of a domestic cylinder of 11.8kg has also seen a reduction. The price has been decreased by Rs117.47, bringing it down to Rs2962.17. In comparison, the same cylinder was being sold for Rs3,079.64 in October.
This move by OGRA is expected to provide some relief to consumers, especially as winter approaches and the demand for LPG increases. The decision aligns with the global trend of falling LPG prices and reflects OGRA’s commitment to adjusting local prices by international market trends.
