The schedule for the next 2023 ODI World Cup has been recommended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and it is presently awaiting approval from the participating cricketing boards and the International Cricket Council (ICC).
According to the planned schedule, the opening match of the 2023 ODI World Cup would be a replay of last year’s exciting final between England and New Zealand.
While Pakistan’s suggested schedule has already been looked at in-depth, let’s have a look at the proposed schedule of the tournament’s hosts, India.
The Men in Blue will square off against Australia in their first match of the season. The match is scheduled on October 8 at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium.
The clash between archrivals Pakistan and India will take place on 15 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with India’s last group match against a qualifier on 11 November in Bengaluru.
