Facebook has recently introduced a new feature called Link History that allows users to easily access links they have visited in the Facebook app over the past 30 days.
To enable Link History, users are prompted with a popup when logging into the Facebook app that explains the feature and gives the option to turn it on.
Link History shows a list of all websites a user has visited from clicking links within the Facebook app, whether those links were from ads, posts, or other sources. This allows users to easily return to sites they recently visited but may have lost track of.
Enabling Link History is simple – simply tap on the popup and select “allow link history”. Users can also enable Link History manually by going to their Facebook profile, selecting “settings and privacy,” then “link history,” and clicking “allow link history”.
Note that allowing Link History means Facebook may use your browsing data to improve ad targeting across Meta’s technologies. However, users can view and clear their Link History at any time in their settings.
So if you want an easy way to rediscover links from your recent Facebook activity, enabling Link History can help. Just be aware it gives Facebook access to your browsing data for ad-targeting purposes.
