KARACHI – The price of gold in Pakistan’s market dropped again, and is currently trading at Rs241,500 per tola. Gold prices dropped by Rs1,400 on Saturday, according to the Sarafa Association. At the same time, a 10 grams of gold was sold for Rs207,047, a decrease of Rs1,200.
The trend in gold prices was unstable throughout the week. The price per tola rose by 1,600 rupees earlier in the week, hitting 242,900 rupees. The fluctuation of these prices is reflective of volatile nature of Pakistan’s gold market.
