Gold Price Hike in Pakistan by Rs6,500 per tola

On Friday, gold prices rose for the second day in a row on the local market as the Pakistani rupee fell against the US dollar.

According to data from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold increased by Rs6,500 to Rs214,500, while the price of a gram of 24-carat gold increased by Rs5,574 to Rs183,900.

The price of gold on the international market stayed stable at $1,959 per ounce.

The per tola and per gram silver prices remained stable at Rs2480 and Rs2,126.20, respectively.
