Fortnite Winterfest 2024 has brought the holiday cheer with Christmas quests, festive challenges, and some incredible rewards of their kind went live. With every new launch, this annual event is growing bigger than ever, including all the daily objectives alongside special interactions with in-game characters.
Winterfest Launch and Mariah Carey’s Defrosting Event
The Defrost live event kicked off the Winterfest event with Mariah Carey belting her most iconic holiday hit, All I Want For Christmas Is You. It’s a festive vibe for the Fortnite community and serves as a taste of what is to come for the season.
The fun doesn’t stop there. During Winterfest 2024, you will receive some quests to earn XP and exclusive rewards.

- Guff’s Daily Assignment: A random challenge each day – 25,000 XP
- Talk to SGT. Winter about his Wintervestigation (1): 25,000 XP
- Talk to Noir on the top floor (1): 25,000 XP
- Talk to Noir to accept the first case (1): 25,000 XP
- Pick up the trail near the Cabin (1): 25,000 XP
- Follow the trail (3): 25,000 XP
- Question the unknown traveler and find out what’s going on (1): 25,000 XP
- Return to Noir with your findings (1): 25,000 XP
- Investigate tampered basketball equipment (3): 25,000 XP
- Go to the address listed on the charity receipt (1): 25,000 XP
- Confront the sick and twisted individual (1): 25,000 XP
- Investigate Canyon Crossing about the suspected cat burglar (3): 25,000 XP

What Time Does Winterfest 2024 End?
Winterfest 2024 is Fortnite’s Winterfest from Friday, December 20, 2024, through Tuesday, January 7, 2025. This gives players 18 days to play festive activities, complete quests, and claim exclusive rewards.
