The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has officially announced the examination schedule for matric and inter exams 2024. The matric exams are set to commence on March 1, 2024, and conclude on April 2, 2024. The inter exams will follow shortly after, beginning on April 15, 2024, and ending on May 16, 2024.
The examinations will be conducted in two shifts: morning and evening. The morning shift will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, while the evening shift will take place from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Students can check their results on the FBISE website or loresult.com once they are released.
The examinations will adhere to a new syllabus and paper pattern, which includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short questions, and long questions. The MCQs will be evaluated by an optical mark reader (OMR) machine, while the short and long questions will be marked by human examiners.
Students can expect the date sheet for both matric and inter exams to be available soon on the FBISE website and loresult.com. It is advised that students review the date sheet meticulously and plan their study schedules accordingly.
Registration for the exams is open until December 31, 2023. The registration fee is Rs. 3,000/- for local candidates and $100 for overseas candidates. Registration can be done online or by visiting the nearest FBISE office. After the registration deadline, there will be a limited period during which students can make changes to their registration details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, subjects, or center.
To prepare effectively for the exams, students are advised to study regularly, revise their syllabus, solve past papers and model papers, focus on weak areas, manage time wisely, and maintain good health and adequate sleep.
The FBISE wishes all students the best of luck in their studies and upcoming exams.
