A strange quest branded for the Giant Turtle in Fortnite Chapter 6 will grant 80,000 XP that can be used anywhere. This post contains a guide to the turtle’s spawn locations and “The Great Turtle” quest.
Fortnite Giant Turtle Spawn Locations
The Giant Turtle, however, is no longer confined to its original spot between Lost Lake and Whiffy Warf. Instead, it randomly spawns at one of the seven possible positions at the beginning of each match.
To find the turtle:
- Search the Battle Bus for its large shell as it skydives.
- Monitor forested areas and open spaces for the massive creatures.
Here’s a list of all seven spawn points:
- Near Whiffy Warf, forested area.
- Shores of Lost Lake.
- West of Dusty Downs clearings.
- Edge of Brightwood Bay.
- Valley near Echoing Hills.
- Open field at Frosted Flats.
- Cliffside above Crystal Cove.
How to Complete “The Great Turtle” Quest
In “The Great Turtle” quest, you must pop into an NPC called Ryuji and help the Giant Turtle get rid of Dark Magic Thorns. Follow these steps to finish the quest:
- Make it to the top of the beast.
- Speak with Ryuji.
- Choose the dialogue wheel and click Ask About.
- When the conversation ends, five Dark Magic Thorns will appear from the Great Turtle’s back. He looks like some small black and red totems sticking out of his shell.
- Select each of the Dark Magic Thorns apart.
- Return to Ryuji for the spoils inside of a Legendary Chest.
Quest Rewards and Deadline
If you complete the “Great Turtle” quest, you will get 80,000 XP and valuable loot from the Legendary Chest. With six weeks to do it, the quest is available until late January.
