AJK Mirpur Intermediate Board Reschedules Exams Due to AJK Protests

The recent tense atmosphere in Azad Jammu Kashmir, the Mirpur Intermediate and Secondary Education Board has decided to postpone the current Intermediate examinations. The exam, which was originally scheduled for May 13 will later take place on May 25, reads an official statement.

Over the last few days, there have been multiple anti-inflation rallies in all of AJK. On X, PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed his apprehensions; the latter added, “I am deeply troubled by the situation in AJK.” In times of chaos and political disagreement, there will still be many who see a profit to be in.”

Shehbaz later stated the following: “I have also spoken with the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and advised our party leadership to engage with the leaders of the action committee. I completely agree with the committee that all forces should not be used ”.

Prime Minister AJK shares responsibility for the current turmoil and calls on all parties to use non-violent methods. In response to the ongoing chaotic demonstrations, the AJK government announced a public holiday throughout the region.

According to the notice, all offices and educational institutions will be closed on Monday. The Mirpur Intermediate Board Reschedules Exams is a case in point.
