Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the schedule for its 1st annual convocation 2024 to be held in various cities across Pakistan. The convocation aims to award prizes and certificates to AIOU graduates from different programs including matric, intermediate, bachelors and masters.
AIOU 1st Convocation 2024 Schedule
The schedule is as follows:
Islamabad Convocation
To be held on January 31, 2024 for students from Rawalpindi division and Gilgit Baltistan.
Karachi Convocation
Scheduled for March 3, 2024 for students from Karachi and other cities of Sindh.
Lahore Convocation
To take place on April 28, 2024 for Punjab students except Rawalpindi division.
Quetta Convocation
Dated May 19, 2024 for Balochistan province students.
Peshawar Convocation
To be organized on June 9, 2024 for students from Peshawar and KPK.
Muzaffarabad Convocation
Planned for June 30, 2024 for Azad Jammu and Kashmir students.
The annual convocations aim to encourage AIOU students by recognizing their academic achievements through prizes and awards. It also serves as an opportunity for graduates to celebrate the completion of their AIOU degrees.
The schedule allows students from different regions to attend convocation ceremonies held in major cities close to them. AIOU has made efforts to ensure wide participation from remote areas as well.
