According to WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is working on a feature that would allow users to report messages to group admins. According to the app-tracking website, an additional feature dubbed ‘admin review’ is presently being created and will be incorporated in a future app update.

Users will be able to access this new option in the group settings area in the future. Enabling this function, however, will be restricted to group administrators because it will be located exclusively within the group settings screen.
In addition, only administrators will be able to view reported messages, which will be presented in a new part of the app. This part will be included in the group information, giving administrators a dedicated location to analyze and address reported communications.
This feature gives group members control over the content shared inside the group. If any member encounters improper or offensive information, they may report it to the admin while they are online, allowing them to quickly erase the language and create a more courteous and acceptable environment inside the group.
