Who Is Dazzler, and Does She Appear in Deadpool 3

For the first time, Deadpool has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Finally, with all the buildup, we have the return of the crude-mouthed Ryan Reynolds Deadpool in Deadpool 3 and, more importantly, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.

Apart from the exciting team-up concept, two new female characters are introduced in the world of Deadpool, namely Lady Deadpool Aka. But one more female character was expected to be in Deadpool 3—Dazzzer, which we will discuss in this post.

Marvel Comics, Beginning of Dazzler

Dazzler, Alison Blaire, is the daughter of Jewish parents Carter and Katherine Blaire. Nevertheless, the mother was irresponsible when Alison was young and left her with Carter after leaving wherever she went. In the case of Alison, it was apparent that she had a noble goal regarding singing and wanted to build a career in the same field.

To make the situation even worse, Carter was a strict officer of the law personnel, and thus, he dismissed everything Alison had to say. However, Alison’s grandmother, Bella Blaire, didn’t want her to be a house girl but instead urged her to be what she wanted.

High School Dance Show is another episode, and for the first time, Alison finds out she has mutant powers. She was also unfamiliar with her turning and powers, so she sometimes blinded the people to conceal herself. Knowing that her powers were not wanted by anyone in her family, she would sometimes raise the ire of her father.

Doing so did not prevent her from experimenting with these new powers she had been given. Therefore, while balancing her college life, she also developed her powers. Alison built her own mirrored performing suit and christened herself ‘Dazzler. ’

The exciting thing that most people are not aware of is that Dazzler once had a fling with the billionaire Tony Stark.

Dazzler: Powers and Abilities

Sound Manipulation

Dazzler can easily convert any form of sound and use it to ‘shoot’ beams of light. However, the frequency range governs the only condition relating to this conversion type. To be specific, the more frequently used, the better the effect. Furthermore, since she has been a Music lover since Childhood, she likes to convert the sound of Music that feels soothing to her ears. She can let out the sound she has accumulated within her at once or in portions at her convenience.

Formidable Combatant

She has an X-Men background for several years and possesses incredible combatant skills. She does not give a second thought to how good she is as a fighter. There have been times when she escaped a desperate death and fought enemies and vicious forces for the sake of her friends.

Laser Projection

Dazzler’s body is an energy field containing a tremendous amount of energy, and she can discharge them as photons. If left aimless, this talent will emit beams of light from all parts of Dazzler’s body. As long as Dazzler controls the light she emanates, she can choose its colour frequency, brightness, how long it stays on, and direction.

Dazzler can generate laser beams from the light she creates and is capable of slicing any material. She also can produce holograms of any living person or non-living thing.

Is Dazzler part of Deadpool 3?

Recently, it was speculated that famous singer Taylor Swift was cast as Dazzler in the Deadpool 3 movie. Worry no more, as now that the movie is out, Deadpool 3 features do not include this character; we do not even see her mentioned. Since Ryan Reynolds did bring together several characters in the film Deadpool 3, Dazzler unfortunately did not make the list. Maybe in Deadpool 4, if it exists.
