Eid Milad-un-Nabi is held on the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal annually in Pakistan and some parts of the world to commemorate the birthday of the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). His followers come up with various activities to mark the event through prayers, food carrying in multitudes, and other programs. This year, the day is on September 16, 2024.
Mawlid, also known as Eid Milad, is also celebrated in the country. Many regard it as a public holiday because of Muslims’ respect for the event.
For this year, the crescent of Rabi ul Awal is expected to be sighted on September 4th, and the new Islamic month will begin on September 5th.
