UAE, Saudi Arabia Visa for Pakistanis [Latest Update]

Many Pakistanis live and work in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia because the efforts of such workers are important for the economic development of Gulf nations, and their remittances to the home country are rather impressive.

Recent events include the threats made by Abu Dhabi and Riyadh concerning the Pakistan expatriates and Pakistan labor force.

The claims came to the surface in the session of the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis, where the officials stated that the Gulf states expressed their worries about Pakistani employees. Many Severa residents of an Asian nation are found in begging and other unlawful practices in these countries.

Due to these events, the UAE and Saudi Arabia cautioned Islamabad not to send these people. A similar case is with several other beggars of Pakistani origin who also contribute to plaques in other countries, such as Iraq.

Pakistani workers continued to find employment in the GCC states in Dubai and other emirates in higher numbers, but new problems of visa overstay and renewed indulgence in crime appeared. It is mostly tough for Pakistani workers in Iraq, and several others in Malaysia are imprisoned if they overstay.

Some informants averred that although development experts opined that a further rise in such crimes could lead to visa rejections for Pakistanis.
