Toyota Reduces Car Prices By Over Rs. 1.3 Million

Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a reduction in the prices of its cars. This decision comes as a result of the appreciation of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US dollar, and IMC has decided to pass this benefit on to consumers. The price cuts, which are as high as Rs. 1.3 million, were announced on Tuesday and are applicable from October 24, 2023.

Despite these price cuts, it’s important to note that the prices haven’t decreased proportionally with the improvement in the US Dollar exchange rate. Furthermore, like other car manufacturers in the country, Toyota is also facing inventory shortages. The automaker recently decided to shut down its plant for a month, from October 17 to November 17, 2023.
