Eid prayer is compulsory for those for whom Jumma prayer is wajib, but the timing of Eid prayer varies by city. The Hanafi School says that Eid prayer is always performed before noon and in the congregation. There is no call to prayer or Aqama during Eid prayer. The hour of Eid prayer differs somewhat between Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha.
The time of Eid prayer is twenty minutes after dawn and concludes before Zawal, according to a reference in Book Durr-e-Mukhtar, volume 3, page 60. This reference explains the Eid prayer time in detail.
