The Suzuki Alto one of Suzuki’s best-selling models continues to maintain a strong presence in the Pakistani market due to its economical pricing and fuel efficiency. First introduced in Pakistan in 1979, the Alto has undergone several transformations over the years. The latest ninth-generation model, launched in 2021, boasts a boxier design, new engine options, and modern features.
The vehicle is equipped with an R-Series three-cylinder petrol engine, renowned for its high fuel efficiency. The Suzuki Alto is available in four variants: VX, VXR, VXR AGS, and VXL AGS. Buyers can choose from a range of colors including solid white, graphite grey, cerulean blue, pearl black, and silky silver.
However, the recent surge in car prices has made it difficult for many potential buyers to afford new cars. This has led to an increased demand for used cars and leasing options. Even entry-level cars like the Suzuki Alto have seen their prices cross the 2 million mark due to import restrictions and other economic challenges.
In response to this situation, Suzuki has introduced an easy installment plan for Alto. The total price of the car is Rs2,251,000, with a minimum down payment of 30 percent, which amounts to Rs675,300. The processing fees are Rs8,700, and the monthly installment is PKR 37,850 for a period of five years.
This initiative by Suzuki aims to make Alto more accessible to buyers in Pakistan, despite the current economic climate. It reflects the company’s commitment to providing affordable and efficient vehicles to its customers.
