Surah Anam Benefits Or Fazilat

Cattle are known as “Anam” in Arabic. The polytheists who share idols in their cattle are prohibited in Surah Anam ki fazilat, verses 136 and 138. They used to stay and consider some animals to be halal and others to be haraam for themselves. There are multiple Surah Anam benefits.

Surah Anam consists of 20 Rukus and 165 Ayahs. Surah Anam ki fazilat is expanded upon in the narration by a companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) stated that the complete Surah Al-An’am was revealed in Makkah in one night, while another narration from him says that 6 verses of the Quran were revealed in Madinah and the rest in Mecca. It is the 55th Surah according to the Tarteeb e Nuzool and the 6th Surah according to the Tarteeb e Tilawat. A few Surah Anam benefits are listed below.

Surah Anam Benefits Or Fazilat

There are several stories about the benefits of Surah Anam. According to Sahih Bukhari Hadith No 3524, as narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas, if you want to learn about Arab ignorance, refer to Surat-al-Anam after Verse No. 130: — Really lost are those who have killed their children in knowledge and forbidden what Allah has provided for them, inventing a lie against Allah. They have indeed led astray and unguided.’ (6.14)

This hadith also reveals the importance of Surah Anam. According to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the Qur’an was revealed in one-fifth part, and anyone who memorized it in one-fifth part would never forget it. Except for Surah al An’am, which was revealed in its entirety and protected by seventy angels from each heaven until it was delivered to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the rest of the Quran was hidden. It has never been recited over a sick person without Allah curing him’.

A hadith related by Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) also indicates the benefits of Surah Anam. He reports that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) indicated that whoever reads the first three verses of Surah An’am during Fajr Salah will have forty thousand angels write down good deeds for him. One Angel with an iron spear will appear and stand guard between Heaven and Earth to protect the individual from Shaytan, who will be forced to hide behind 70 veils. On the day of judgment, Allah Ta’ala will say to him I am your Rabb and you are my slave, walk in my shade and drink from the pond of Kawthar, take a bath from Salsabil, and enter Jannah without punishment and reckoning.
