Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC Tipped to Launch in May
Qualcomm, a semiconductor company, unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU in December 2021. According to market sources, the firm is developing an improved ‘Plus’ version of the flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

According to the leaked roadmap, Qualcomm will be announcing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ in early May. Around the same period, the US-based chipmaker is likely to debut the new Snapdragon 700-series. Motorola, Lenovo, OnePlus, and Xiaomi are among the companies likely to release the first smartphones supported by the SD8G1+.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 are anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC when they arrive later this year.
