Sindh Govt Solar Panel Scheme 2024: Check Eligibility

The government is also encouraging the use of renewable energy. The Sindh government recently launched a program in which people living in low-income houses can buy solar panels at a cheaper price than commercial ones.

In the first phase, solar systems were planned to be distributed among 2lac families under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in the region. According to more recent information, 50,000 systems are believed to have been shipped to Karachi this October.

The cost efficacy is of the order of Rs55,000, whereas, the entitled families can purchase the same, just for Rs 2000/- only 20pesent. BISP data will be used to check the families’ details.
