The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced two bank holidays for Eid ul Azha 2023. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that all banks would be closed on June 29th and 30th, 2023 (Thursday and Friday).
“The State Bank of Pakistan will be closed on the 29th and 30th of June, 2023 (Thursday and Friday) due to Eid-ul-Adha public holidays.” The central bank went on to say.
Note that the Federal Government announced three public holidays for Eid ul Azha, from June 29th to July 1st, 2023.
The announcement came only one day after the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (RHC) sighted the crescent for the month of Zil Hajj at a meeting in Islamabad presided over by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad.
