RRR Box Office (Hindi): Stays Fair In Its 5th Weekend, Is Challenged By KGF Chapter 2 & Jersey

It’s hard to believe that a Kannada film can stand up to an SS Rajamouli production. With both movies competing in Hindi throughout the country, this is even more so. However, this is occurring as KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) continues to grow, and the procedure has also affected RRR (Hindi).
But if RRR (Hindi) had not been blown away by the 300 crores hurricane, the film would have collected at least 20 crores more in the same period and qualified for the 300 Crore Club.
At this point, the film’s best chance is a lifetime gross of 270 crores, and it should hit that mark after earning 261.83 crores in box office receipts. With 3.32 crores more in ticket sales throughout the fifth weekend, the film maintained its strong showings.
Even though it has been a major hindrance, KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) was able to consume some screens and, therefore, audience focus. In other words, it’s not like Shahid Kapoor completely ruined the film, but there’s always something to detract from an already-distracting movie.
With 2 Eid releases, Heropanti 2 and Runway 34, the NTR Jr. and Ram Charan starrer should bring in an additional two crores during the week. So even though RRR (Hindi) is competing with so many other films on all the screens, it will finally hit 270 crores.
