Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced a new summer train timetable that will go into effect on April 15.

The departure and arrival times of 13 trains at different railroad stations have been changed, according to the new schedule announced on Thursday, while three trains have already been given temporary shutdowns.

To accommodate a high number of travelers, the department has also revived the Shalimar Express between Lahore and Karachi. Pak Business Express and Karakoram Express were updated in the same fashion as Green Line Express last Saturday, according to Railway Minister Saad Rafique.

The meeting also discussed the plan for the maintenance and improvement of several other trains in order to give the best travel facilities to passengers.

At the meeting, several business strategies for increasing Railways revenue, including the utilization of Railways land to produce revenue, were also explored.

The Minister recently ordered relevant departments to ensure that employees receive their pay before Eid-ul-Fitr. According to media reports, authorities were given instructions to distribute the money by April 18.
